So honored to be part of 4-H day at the NM legislature today!
I had the honor of presenting the 4H memorial in the House of Representatives. In 4‑H programs, kids and teens complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture and civic engagement in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles. Kids experience 4‑H in every county and parish in the country through in-school and after-school programs, school and community clubs and 4‑H camps. So many members, including my co-sponsors have served in 4H or as 4H volunteers. Candie Sweetser, Representative for NM House Dist 32, Martin Zamora NM House District 63, Representative Gail Armstrong, Rachel Black, and Randall Pettigrew NM House of Representatives District 61 #4HGrowsHere. #nm4H #dist32rocks
